Our Little Lotus Flower is Blossoming!

This little girl continues to amaze us. We keep waiting for her to hit some type of deep grief or show some true sadness, but she continues to blossom more and more each day. Quinn has honestly seemed to not look back. She continues to marvel at most everything, taking in all she can each second of the day. Every day, we see a little more personality emerging than from the day before. We think her middle name, Lian, (which means lotus flower) is very fitting of her journey. The lotus flower starts at the bottom of the murky waters...rising to the surface, slowly, but surely. Over time, the bud turns into a beautiful lotus flower, full of color...full of beauty.

How perfect for our little peanut.

Johnny, Kerri and the girls spent the day on the Island. The adults had a great time shopping (okay, well....Kerri had a great time anyway) and bought some great gifts. They said it was really HOT, so their shopping excursion did not last long. They are planning another trip to the Island to buy a few more things.

Lucy's is famous for their Western style cuisine. I know my husband (down 10 lbs. since he left) was in heaven with Western style food!

We are in count down mode around here. Tomorrow is the swearing in ceremony at the US Embassy. After that, all that is left is waiting for Quinn's Visa. The kids and I had a shopping day for Quinn. I sent all my "bag of tricks" to China, so I had to come up with some new stuff!
