Holiday Festivities

We started our Christmas holiday with my Dad and Step Mom coming to TX for a visit. Quinn has officially met all of her grandparents and each time, she responded as if she has always known they were her family.

Her very first present!

After a wonderful weekend with grandparents, we made our way to visit Santa. This was a HUGE hit. Santa was like a rock star to Quinn. I thought she would run the other way and it was the opposite! I think she would have sat on his lap for days.

On Christmas Eve, we attended a beautiful, candle light service at church. What a special time for us and our baby girl!

Once home, we let the kids open a few gifts from us. In all of the excitement, Quinn crashed on the floor before the festivities began.

Attempts to wake her up were pretty unsuccessful for a while...pure torture for her siblings!

At last! Quinn wakes up and it's time for presents.

Christmas morning!

The stroller was the biggest hit. She piled up about 5 babies and has logged about 20 miles since.

Oh, how she loves her babies!

And OH how she LOVES her Mimi!!!

We have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this holiday season. Quinn has been a beautiful blessing, added to our already blessed life. Happy Holidays!

I could not end this post without remembering McKenna. Her birthday was December 18th and she would have turned 3. Last Christmas, we had such hopes and dreams for McKenna to be with us this holiday season. We think of her often and we know that she was in our lives for a reason. Her spirit remains in our hearts and even though we never met her, we consider her part of us.

She will not be forgotten....
